Kale Mosque
Kale Mosque is located near the Inner Castle in Kars.
The epitaph of the mosque has not survived.
It is understood from the style of the work that it was made in the 17th century.
The square planned mosque is made of cut stone and is covered with a dome with a squinch and a high pulley. In the restorations, the interior part has moved away from its originality.
Outside the masjid, the square base minaret with a single balcony made of cut stone preserves its originality.
